Today's the day -- my first official run for Oiselle! So I worked my buns off to represent the lady birds.
This is an 8.2-mile run that drags you up a hill to the falls and then slingshots you back down. The last mile is on some peace-giving trails (especially for people who wore minimal shoes thinking it would be all trails -- hint: that was me).
More later with the race deets. But I was 8th place woman with a time of about 1:05. There were a little under 400 people signed up when we registered last night. And top ten male and female won some cash money.
Sounds like a very hard run, awesome job!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, my feet are still feeling it!

ReplyDeleteNice job out there and congrats on the strong finish. Good to see another Alabama runner in the blogging community. I say that this course is much tougher than Statue 2 Statue.
